“The Only True Conservative”
First, a US Representative says that if terrorists attack us with a nuclear bomb, we should consider nuking Mecca:
“Well, what if you said something like — if this happens in the United States, and we determine that it is the result of extremist, fundamentalist Muslims, you know, you could take out their holy sites,” Tancredo answered.
“You’re talking about bombing Mecca,” Campbell said.
“Yeah,” Tancredo responded.
There’s nothing so outrageous, though, that Michelle Malkin won’t defend it by pointing to what she considers to be even more egregious statements from liberals and Democrats:
Rep. Tancredo’s remarks were most certainly unwise, and he should do the right thing and retract them quickly, but I do not agree that his words were “the most irresponsible” opinions expressed by any American official. Not compared to this or this or this or this.
But there’s someone far to Michelle’s right today, and that would be LaShawn Barber:
Republicans and Democrats are jumping all over him, mischaracterizing his remarks. They believe Tancredo should apologize. He said he won’t, and I hope he doesn’t. I stand behind him 100 percent, even as Republicans and so-called conservatives demand an apology. We need tough talk and tough action on global terrorism, and what Tancredo said was actually mild compared to what Islamofascists have in mind for us.
Most politicians are faint-hearted, weak, ineffectual, disconnected, and desensitized pencil-pushers, so when one comes along and says what should’ve been said eons ago, his own party wants to see his head on a platter because he dared “offend” someone. Numbskulls.
She calls Tancredo “the only true conservative in Congress.”
That’s right, readers: out of 231 Republican US Representatives, there is only one (1) “true conservative,” and that would be the one who publicly discusses nuclear strikes on the city of Mecca.

LaShawn is a truly wretched person, and she’s basically been embarrassing herself for quite some time now. I’ve noticed that even the other wingnut bloggers don’t seem to pay much attention to her. She’s actually a really horrible blogger, even allowing for being a nutjob. I mean, Malkin is a crazy bitch, but she’s fairly good at being a crazy bitch.
Seriously, La Shawn has begun to sound more and more like Jackie Harvey from the Onion (“The Outside Scoop”).

The liberals make one true observation – “the war in Iraq has been mishandled.”
Liberal Democrats ought to know since they are the ones who mishandled the draw in Korea, the loss in Viet Nam under Kennedy and LBJ, and the surrender to terror by Bill Clinton.
And that same template for failure is demanded by the liberals – if not total surrender. Bush is appeasing the left to a great degree.
Wars are about killing people and breaking things. You cannot defeat the enemy by not playing all your advantages. If you refuse to bomb mosques for political correctness – guess where the enemy’s weapons and soldiers will be?
If you do not attack countries aiding the enemy and funding them – like Saudi Arabia, Iran and Syria – guess where the re-enforcements will come from.
Tancredo is 100% right, excuse me – 100% correct – which is why it hurts liberals ears.

Are you saying that nothing but “political correctness” is stopping us from destroying entire cities in the righteous fires of nuclear immolation? Sorry, dude, but that’s crazy talk.
