Guest-blogging
Northstar, who writes The People’s Republic of Seabrook, is going on a well-deserved vacation for the next couple of weeks. I will be among the writers whom he has kindly invited to fill in for him during his absence. TPRS is a “Large Mammal” in that wretched “Ecosystem,” with around 170 incoming links (I think I have seven), so here’s a chance for me to humiliate myself in front of a much larger audience.
I am pleased and honored to have been given this invitation. Hopefully, TPRS readers will enjoy an occasional “prang on the dumpendebat.”

“Prang” = Khmer-style chedi?

“Prang” = “a sharp blow, a jab.”

Good luck with the guest blogging, should be fun. Forgive my ignorance but how does one know how many incoming links exist?

I think if you sign up for Site Meter, that’s part of the site reporting it’ll give you (who links to you).
Or you can search for your own URL on Technorati. Or try URLinfo, a very cool tool from Faganfinder.
