Blast from the past!
In honor of the recent publication (under the Regnery imprint, to be sure) of Michelle Malkin’s new “book” Unhinged: Exposing Liberals Gone Wild, I’m giving you a blast from the past from my man Dadahead (aka “Al-JaDada”), who posted this on 2 April 2005:

Remind me when was the last time you “debated an issue honestly,” Lycfyg. You have trouble getting three sentences out, in what you call a “debate,” without resorting to personal insults. Sometimes you seem willing to be almost reasonable, but any exchange with you, if it goes on long enough, degenerates into an online shouting match. You just can’t control your tendency to get nasty. Pushing buttons until you manage to piss somebody off isn’t “winning a debate.”

What’s your point, then, “Michelle’s hubby”? You’re saying personal insults are OK because Dadahead and Liberal Avenger are, in your opinion, “the king of insults”? Does that make sense?
You don’t accuse me of insulting people who leave comments here, but instead accuse other people who are on “my side.” Am I guilty by association?
Most of the time, I enjoy the comments that people from the Liberal Quicksand crew leave here. Sometimes they piss me off, sometimes they make me laugh, sometimes they even have a good point. This is the way it should be.
That’s the way I want things on this blog. I will not be drawn into flame wars and furious exchanges in the comments section. Everyone is welcome here, but I don’t want interpersonal nastiness.
