Fear This!
Wingnut doctrine holds that Arabs and Muslims hate us for who we are, for our freedoms. This doctrine also holds that nothing America does today, has done in the past, or will do in the future makes any difference; therefore, it makes sense to kill as many of them as we feel like killing. The answer to our foreign-policy dilemmas is to be found in a truculent unilateralism. (These are the kind of people who would wear a T-shirt emblazoned with Old Glory and an American Eagle, with the in-your-face legend “Fear This!” The idea of the rest of the world being afraid of the American Eagle makes them happy.)
But look at the polls. Look at how anti-American sentiment in the Middle East has gotten worse and worse since we embarked on our adventure in Iraq. Would these numbers have dropped so precipitously in any event? Is this just a reflection of how Arabs and Muslims just keep on hating us worse and worse, no matter what, because they hate Freedom, Liberty, Mom and Apple Pie?
Wingnuts will, of course, dismiss the poll results as nothing but left-wing anti-American lies. Fear This, readers. Fear This!

Jack, you should hate the people trying to kill you instead of the people trying to protect even your Constitutional freedoms, you dipshit.
Your poll is a pack of lies Dump, but so is everything liberal. Everything. Was that poll stolen from an archive somewhere by Sandy Berger too?
Reminder: We were not in Iraq or Afghanistan when 9/11 happened. What is your response to that FACT (not a poll)?

Ron, you ramble. And your football selections show us how correct your thinking is.
Ask the Muslims and they will tell you to your face - convert or die.
What part of that simple statement eludes liberals?
Actually nothing does. Millions of liberal Jews went to the gas chambers in Germany without a struggle. Liberal Israel is doing the same thing now.
Liberals have a generic cowardly streak. That is why they protest ‘equal pay’ for women in the safety of the United States and ignore rape, submissive women and genital mutilation in the Middle East. Simply amazing how liberals must contort their beliefs to even get up in the morning.

Let it be known that Hank Dagny is a liar and a fake. He can’t stand anyone smart enough to kick his butt in a fair debate. In fact, he won’t even let you have a fair debate.
Hank will only debate you on his website, and when you start to show how foolish Hank’s arguments are, he starts deleting your comments and kicking you off his system.
Then he claims you left the debate because you couldn’t stand up to him.
Twice now, over several years, I’ve answered his call to debate him, and twice now he or his cronies have censored my messages by deleting them outright.
And yet he has the gall to claim I left the debate.
Hank is a liar who doesn’t have the guts to stand up like a man and debate without censorship. But don’t take my word for it: look for any posts by me, Elroy, since he started deleting my posts in mid July. You won’t find any because he deletes them rather than debate me man to man.
Try it out for yourself. Make enough good arguments and see if he doesn’t start deleting you too. Who knows how many people he’s deleted and then claimed victory since they don’t post anymore (or can’t post anymore, as the case may be).
He’s a chicken who likes to crow but can’t stand true debate or discussion.
Enjoy,
Elroy

Here’s what you’re setting yourself up for if you ever accept Hank Dagny’s offer of “debate” –
I’ve known H.D. (on the Internet, that is) for over two years now, and I’ve learned that you cannot have a debate with him. He uses every cheap rhetorical trick in the book — argumentum ad hominem, petitio principii, moving goalposts, changing subjects midstream, etc, etc. He always, always ends up getting nasty and resorting to name-calling. His goal is to get you to lose your own temper, at which point he claims victory.
H.D. is welcome to comment on my site, but I know better than to think there will ever be a fair, genuine “debate” with him.

My favorite is when he makes up statistics, such as “95% of university professors are Marxists”. That’s made-up in itself, but seems like a plausible contribution from him. I have no idea where he gets that shit.
Another goodie: Mohammed is the most popular boy’s name in Sweden.

Yeah, that was one of H.D.’s greatest hits. He got it from Mark Steyn, who lies awake at night worrying that Muslims are going to conquer the United States and force him to convert to Islam any day now.
