Michelle Malkin obviously has a serious personal problem with Amanda Marcotte. Ever since Amanda announced that she had been given the job of “blogmaster” for the John Edwards 2008 campaign, Malkin has been on the attack.
Malkin has spent the past few days encouraging her right-wing audience to email the Edwards campaign and get Amanda M. fired from her new job. She accuses Amanda of scrubbing some old posts off her blog, but the real problem seems to be that Amanda has used bad words, and has even used bad words to criticize the Bush administration. To Malkin, these “foul-mouthed nutroots diatribes” are unforgivable. She can’t believe that the Edwards campaign would want to hire such a dirty-mouthed left-winger, and predicts that it will surely prove to be a major political thorn in Edwards’ side.
Of course, if Malkin really believed what she says — that the foul-mouthed, unhinged, far-left-wing Amanda Marcotte is going to be a big problem for the Edwards campaign — surely she’d sit back, crack open a cold beverage, and enjoy the show. But what she really wants to see is Amanda losing her new job.
Today Malkin has redoubled her efforts with a stunningly vitriolic video (the latest installment of Hotair.com’s “Vent” feature). I had trouble sitting through the unutterably wretched video clip, which features Malkin sneering and jeering as she reads aloud some of Amanda Marcotte’s old blog posts, in the most mocking tone imaginable. A little snark and sarcasm, and good old-fashioned mockery, can be very funny, but Malkin doesn’t ever do anything halfway, and this little video quickly heads right over the top. It’s actually embarrassing to watch… I’ve never seen Michelle Malkin make quite such a fool of herself, and that’s saying something.

Not very familiar with ‘Amanda’. I’ve ’seen’ her over at LA occassionally. I’ve known for quite some time that Malkin is a stupid bitch.
If what Malkin and those other rightwing bloggers say is true about what ‘Amanda’ wrote about the Duke Lacrosse players, then she’s a stupid bitch, too.

That’s a little harsh, Stram. If being hot-headed, jumping to conclusions, and writing an intemperate blog post makes someone a “stupid bitch,” then I, too, am a stupid bitch, as would be most people who write blogs.
Amanda M. wrote a stupid, intemperate blog post in which she judged those Duke lacrosse players guilty. She later retracted that post and put up another one in which she attempted to clarify her views. Yes, she fucked up, but I don’t agree that makes her a “stupid bitch.”

No Filius, you say she ‘retracted’? First of all, you left that part out and frankly I don’t give a fuck if the bitch retracted it or not. It couldn’t have been that long ago because it hasn’t been that long that the ‘charges were dropped’.
Mr. Filius, let me make something perfectly clear to you. I’m a Democrat, but I’m not some limp wristed pussy who can be used as a doormat, like a lot of ‘liberals’. I would think you might have figured out over the short time that I’ve been visiting here, that I say what the fuck is on my mind.
I’m raising multiple ‘white boys’, Mr. Filius, and I won’t stand by and let stupid little bitches like Amanda imply that white boys are running around raping black woman for sport.

Who’s trying to “use you as a doormat,” Stram? Sounds like something touched a nerve here.
Here’s a clue for you, since you seem to be losing it: If I disagree with you, it doesn’t mean I think you’re a “limp wristed pussy,” and it doesn’t mean I want to “use you as a doormat.” It doesn’t mean you can’t “say what the fuck is on your mind,” either. All it means is: I disagree with you. I think you can probably handle it when that happens.
Get a grip on yourself.

I wasn’t accusing you of using me as a doormat. In fact, no one uses me as a doormat and that’s my point.
The whole Duke rape case, especially described by people like ‘amanda’, is just another example of people on the ‘left’, many who allow themselves to be walked on, bending over backwards trying to please others and feeling guilty about being from a segment of the population that oppresses poor minorities.
Every single person in this country should have been able to figure out right from the start that the Duke whore was lying and that the 3 guys who were singled out were innocent. But that just wasn’t politically correct enough for all the limp wristed, guilt-ridden pussies who dominate our side of the political spectrum.
And don’t worry, I’ll keep saying what’s on my mind.

OK, now I see where you’re coming from. You confused me when you went off on that tangent about “limp wristed pussies.” Now I understand what you’re talking about: White Liberal Guilt.
Where you and I disagree is not (and never has been) over the Duke rape-accusation case or the embarrassing and stupid thing Amanda M. wrote about it. I don’t consider her remarks defensible, nor do I have the slightest desire to defend them.
Here’s where we disagree: you say she’s a “stupid bitch” for writing it. I say writing something stupid, even something extraordinarily stupid, doesn’t automatically make somebody a “stupid bitch.” That’s all.
Now, hopefully, we understand each other.

‘White liberal guilt’ is the perfect description of what I was trying to get across.
I don’t think we disagree on the other either. She’s not literally stupid, not a bitch either, if you use the true definition, but you know what I meant.
