Chris Matthews openly fawns over McCain every chance he gets. Matthews spent almost two years trashing Al Gore during Campaign 2000. He keeps saying very nasty things about Hillary Clinton these days. But he has opposed Bush's Iraq war, so that's enough to make him a Far-Left Liberal and a Partisan Democrat in some people's eyes.
