But first, are you experienced? Have you ever been experienced?
Merriam-Webster:
impertinent (adj.)
1. not pertinent : irrelevant
2a. not restrained within due or proper bounds, especially of propriety or good taste <impertinent curiosity>
2b. given to or characterized by insolent rudeness <an impertinent answer>
According to Mark Noonan, Barack Obama’s presidential bid is characterized by insolent rudeness — or does he mean it’s not within the bounds of good taste? Here’s part of his take on Obama’s announcement:
He hasn’t the experience: Certainly the most impertinent Presidential campaign since Wilke [sic] in 1940.
Obama “hasn’t the experience” (by the way, is there any other native speaker of American English who would say “he hasn’t the experience” rather than “he hasn’t got the experience,” or, even better, “he doesn’t have the experience”? Just wondering), which makes his presidential aspirations “impertinent.”
The nerve of it, readers! Who does Barack Obama think he is, launching a bid for the presidency when he hasn’t the experience?
Impertinence, experience:
- Barack Obama: Illinois State Senator 1996-2004, U.S. Senator 2004-present
- Rudy Giuliani: Mayor of New York City, 1994-2001
Why is it impertinent for Barack Obama to run for President, but not impertinent for Former Mayor Giuliani to do so?

This is so exciting. We are about to witness the biggest contrast in ideology for President of the United States in our history.
One one side we have Hussein Obama. A guy who was an IL Senate colleague of his said had a voting record “to the left of Mao Tse Tung.” A guy who has a perfect 100 voting record from the Marxist ADA. A guy who attended a Madrassa in Indonesia as a child for 4 years and has an Islamic surname.
Contrast this with Rudy Giuliani, a libertarian Republican, fiscally conservative yet socially tolerant. Plus, Pro-Defense and Anti-Islamo-Fascist. A guy who told a Saudi Prince to shove his $10 million up his ass. A guy who the NY Times called a “budget slashing, privatizing Ayn Randian.”
Folks you can’t get a more extreme contrast than that. Leftwing Fascist versus a Freedom-loving Patriotic Libertarian Republican.

“Libertarians for Giuliani” sounds almost oxymoronic, but I’ll check out your website before I start making fun.
However, I will let you know that you make it very difficult to take you seriously when you say something as stupid as:
Either you actually believe the debunked and deeply foolish “madrassa” claim, in which case you’re not too smart, or you know it’s a lie and you’re repeating it anyway, in which case you’re a liar. I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt, for the time being.
I’ll look at your website. Your homework: come up with a written explanation of why you think Obama is an “Islamic surname.”

Libertarian’s are nothing but George W. Bush backers who are too embarrassed to admit it.
Giuliani is a punk who hid like Bush did on 9/11 until they told him it was safe to come out.
