Dum Pendebat Filius

A sniff in the kortevar, that what you cry for, yeled? A prert up the cull, a prang on the dumpendebat?

Sic transit gloria wingnuti

Poor Michael Savage… CAA, the big-time Hollywood talent agency, has cancelled their deal with him already, literally almost as soon as news of his signing came out in the press.

On Tuesday, Savage let loose with a nasty tirade on his execrable radio show The Savage Nation. Here’s what he had to say about Oscar-winner Melissa Etheridge, who mentioned her wife and children in her acceptance speech:

I don’t like a woman married to a woman. It makes me want to puke. How’s that? I want to vomit when I hear it. I think it’s child abuse. That’s my opinion — one man’s opinion. If it’s illegal, tell me it’s illegal to have an opinion in America. Maybe I can be excommunicated for having an opinion.

I want to puke when I hear about a woman married to a woman raising children because, frankly, I think that it’s child abuse to do that to children without their permission.

This isn’t the first job Savage has lost because of his penchant for anti-gay trash talk. This dark cloud has a bit of a silver lining for Savage, though; he can claim that he’s being persecuted because he dares to speak his mind about the “homosexual death-style” or whatever he likes to call it. Note the whiff of victimization in his own words above, in the middle of his nasty rant (”that’s my opinion… maybe I can be excommunicated…”).
