Hyperbole
It’s one thing to dislike former President Jimmy Carter, but come on already:
CARTER’S JEW HATE HITS DESPICABLE LOW
By G-d, that peanut of a man can’t do enough to stab the Jews in the head. He is unfrickinbelievable. How is [sic] old is that bag of hate anyway? Pancreatic cancer killed every member of his family except him. His evil is more powerful than the deadliest cancer on earth.
By Gee-Dash-Dee indeed, readers. Want to follow Pammy’s link to see her definition of “stab[bing] the Jews in the head”? Sure you do. Allons-y:
Jimmy Carter’s new book is being widely criticized by people from across the political spectrum, including some who in the past had worked with or for Jimmy Carter. Here is a roundup of some of that criticism.
Whoa, readers. Writing a book that is “widely criticized… across the political spectrum” is not quite the same thing as “stab[bing] the Jews in the head,” at least not where I come from. Hyperbole, anyone?

I was a little irritated by President Carter backtracking on what he said about Bush Jr. Why apologize for telling the truth?
I wonder if Pammy knows how ‘evangelical’ Christians reaaly feel about Jews. You know, how they’re all going to hell?
I wonder, and maybe you know, what she had to say about Falwell’s death?
January 1999: Falwell tells a pastors’ conference in Kingsport, Tenn., that the Antichrist prophesied in the Bible is alive today and “of course he’ll be Jewish.”….

Wingnuts [Heart] Israel for two reasons:
1. Fundie Christian theology holds that the State of Israel must possess every centimeter of the territory of The Promised Land in order for the Rapture to occur. (After the righteous Christians have ascended bodily into heaven, of course, then all the Jews will die, but never mind that part.)
2. Israelis kill Arabs, with guns, RPGs, and stuff.
Wingnuts also love to pretend that any criticism of the policies or actions of the State of Israel is no different from Mein Kampf-style Jew-hatred.
As I’m sure you predicted, Crazy Pammy phoned in a brief eulogy for Falwell, calling him “a true friend of Israel” and wishing an eternity of quiet repose for his soul.

Yes. Because Falwell totally did not think that Jews are Hell-bound.

Carter’s book has been criticized by people from across the political spectrum? Yeah, the spectrum that stretches all the way from hardcore Likudniks to the people who think that Palestinians ought to be exterminated. Crazy Pam is kind of a centrist on that spectrum.
