Allah Fish, meet God Eggplant - UPDATED
Remember the “Allah fish,” readers? There was one last May, and another one last March. Now we English-speakers have our own orthographic representation of the Divine Being appearing away from the printed page:
Felicia Teske of Boothwyn says she was preparing fried eggplant for dinner Sunday evening and noticed that the seeds in one slice seemed to spell out the word “GOD”… The Teskes are now considering selling the eggplant on ebay [sic].
God… It’s What’s For Dinner.
UPDATE, 2007/08/16, 11:35 EDT
1. The Teskes have grown tired of all the media attention their eggplant has generated. It’s not clear what they were expecting when they informed the media of the eggplant’s existence in the first place.
2. The “Holy ‘God’ Eggplant” has been listed on eBay. They’re asking for an opening bid of a thousand dollars.
