Man, makes me want to lay down and take a nap.
Let me ask, Filius. I’ve noticed your rugs a few times — Did you get those ‘overseas’ while serving our great nation, brother?

No, these carpets are Persian but were purchased in the USA.

Just checking …. Thought maybe Cut and Paste Hank, the petty thief, might pop his head out of his hole over here to tell you about the irony of someone else writing a post almost identical to one he wrote.

This is an ‘open thread’, right, Filius?
I read a really funny, and totally ignorant statement today. Some clueless wingnut moron actually wrote the following;
“But every election time, somehow things have never improved for ‘blacks’ but somehow voting for the Democrats are (sic) still the answer.
Hey Filus, you’re a smart guy? How did ‘blacks’ do economically under Bill Clinton? I knew you would know the answer. That’s exactly right; unemployment for African Americans went from “14.2% in 1992 to an average of 7.7% in the first half of 2000″!
“Things” improved that time, didn’t they?
And unemployment among Blacks was 7.4% in Dec. 2000.
Man, I hope those “tribes’ don’t figure things out and start voting for Republicans.

Yes, not many of those right-wing articles of faith are based in fact or truth.
