Superdumb
Can someone explain to me why this is supposed to be a big deal:
The Democrats are so dirty, it’s freakin frightening. Nancy Pelosi’s very plain-jane daughter is a SUPERDELEGATE to the Democratic convention, meaning she gets extra votes for Hillary or whoever.
HOW did she get to be a “superdelegate”? She says she “ran for the appointment”. Nice that a politician’s daughter gets extra votes in picking the next candidate. hat tip Clyde
First of all, “superdelegates” are unpledged DNC delegates — that means they’re free to support any candidate for the party’s nomination, as opposed to regular delegates, who are legally bound to vote for the candidate they’re pledged to. It does not mean they “get extra votes for Hillary or whoever.” That statement is, well, “superdumb,” readers.
Second, why is this supposed to be a big deal? What can Superdelegate Christine Pelosi do that Superdelegate Jane Doe could not do? Can anyone tell me?
