Dum Pendebat Filius

A sniff in the kortevar, that what you cry for, yeled? A prert up the cull, a prang on the dumpendebat?

A True Believer Laments

The real reason Mitt Romney dropped out:

He was almost too perfect – and the one thing that was less than perfect in the eyes of the evangelicals undid him. Mormon. The fact that Obama Hussein is half Muslim and has embraced the idea of capitulating to Islam is little mentioned. But Romney was a Mormon and well, you can’t have that.

That’s right, readers — the fact that Mitt Romney is a phony flip-flopping empty suit who failed to inspire voters in the Republican primaries despite spending $35 million of his own money had nothing to do with it. No, the only reason millions of Republicans somehow failed to realize that Mitt Romney is actually the Second Coming of Saint Ronald Reagan is because he’s a Mormon.

(None of this really matters, of course. No matter how angry they might be right now, every right-wing pundit, radio-show talker, and blogger who’s been excoriating McCain and crying over Mitt Romney’s departure is going to vote (R) in November anyway, no matter what.)

  1. Dave Fourputt:

    Not me.

It’s you Democrats that will be like sheep and vote for any Democrat that is presented to you.

Even those who are/were oh-so-concerned about the Iraq war will throw away your principles and vote for Hillary and forget all about her ‘yes vote’ on the war.

    Baaaaah. Baaaaaaaah.

  2. dumpendebat:

Yikes, Fourputt! A little touchy this weekend, are we?

Who will you vote for, then?

  3. Dave Fourputt:

Ah what the heck. I’ll vote for Hillary.

    Who’s getting your vote?

  4. Dave Fourputt:

Seriously, Alan Keyes would get my vote if the election was today.
