I’m actually in Las Vegas right now (my sister’s getting married on Sunday!!) enjoying myself. I just heard about Edwards fessing up to his affair a couple hours ago. Wow! I am genuinely shocked and disappointed.

You covered most of my old stomping grounds — Virginia’s Historical Triangle, where I grew up; DC, where I lived much of my adult life; PA, where I live now. I remember there was a heat wave in early June, oddly. According to my indoor/outdoor thermometer, those were the hottest days we’ve had in 2008 thus far.

Life here is pretty good. I’ve got no serious complaints.

I’m doing well. I was actually in PA, DC, Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg the second week in June on vacation with my family (wife and three kids) when the East Coast decides to have a heat wave! We planned the trip in June specifically to avoid the heat. We still had a good time.

Good to see you are sharp on your political commentary. For the record, any inspiration from Europe has come in the form of history that I have already learned at school. I love learning foreign languages and we can all benefit from them. Europe’s policies are good for Europe.

Fourputt knows all about being ‘played’. He’s a two-time Bush fool. His head has been stuck so far up Bush’s and the republicans’ asses it’s remarkable that he’s still breathing.

Mitt Romney is an intelligent person, and he knows perfectly well that saying American kids would benefit from studying other languages is not the same thing as “taking inspiration from Europe” or doing something that might keep America from “staying America” (whatever the hell that means). He’s just playing the voters for a bunch of fools.
