A political fat cat, readers, hopelessly corrupted after just a few days inside the Beltway. Beholden to Big Business, completely in the pocket of K Street lobbyists, this fat cat is living high on the hog. He agreed to serve only one term in office, though, and will have to return to his home in Maryland this weekend.

Buddy the cat certainly won’t be able to complain that he didn’t get enough attention while he was staying with me.

If he really is a Washington fat cat I suspect he’ll be in your house a lot longer than you think at an expense far greater than you planned. He’ll probably deny knowing anything about the hairballs and other surprises he’ll leave behind too.
