Rare agreement
Dumpendebat agreeing with Michelle Malkin… rare, but it happens.
Michelle: “How about shut up and publish, and leave the anti-tobacco zealotry to the ashtray cops?”
Anti-tobacco zealotry is by no means the property of the political Left, readers. Smokers (20% of the American population) come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and creeds. Unfortunately, so do anti-tobacco zealots. Wingnuts and moonbats alike, some of us smoke cigarettes, and none of us like being vilified for it.
I mean, why didn’t HarperCollins just quit publishing the fucking book, instead of going to the trouble of airbrushing a cigarette out of the illustrator’s hand? After all, the illustrator was a smoker. Smoking is bad, and wrong, and smokers are bad people. Why let kids look at pictures that were drawn by a very bad man?
