A Sysadmin Is Got to Dream, Boy
That’s right, readers, I’m out of town again. Lots of time on the road.
Nobody dast blame this man. You don’t understand. Dumpendebat was a system administrator; and for a sysadmin, there is no rock bottom to the life. He don’t write Java code, he don’t configure routers, or tune SQL queries. He’s a man way out there in the blue, riding on a smile and a shell script; and when the kernel panics start — boy, that’s an earthquake. And then you get yourself a couple of corrupted file systems, and you’re finished. Nobody dast blame this man. A sysadmin is got to dream, boy; it comes with the territory.
