didn’t Stalin have 5 million Russians killed though? Thats where the bad taste comes in

No, he didn’t. He killed about 2.3 millions of Russians. About half of those Russians were not ethnic Russians.
I have a much better view of Uncle Joe now. Although I think ‘borah’ is a digit off.
