Political prediction

I just want to go on the record here, readers, with my prediction for Mitt Romney’s choice of VP:

I predict that Romney will choose Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal.

  1. No way, my man. Can you really picture Jindal as President? I’m hoping for Paul Ryan or Rob Portman. They both exemplify Romney well with their failed trickle-down economic policies and unabashed disdain for the middle class.

    One has written it all down – and Romney is on record of supporting it – and the other was GWB’s budget director. Bring it on! It’ll be either Ryan or Portman. I’ll go with Ryan.

  2. I think Jindal would be a good choice for Romney — Jindal has more credibility with the wingnut/Tea-Party faction than Romney himself has, he’s young and energetic, and he’ll “bring some diversity to the ticket,” as they say.

    The fact that Romney even has a chance of getting elected this year, given that he’s openly running on a platform of slashing taxes on the super-rich and letting the middle/working classes pay for it, is a sign of just how desperately, terminally dumb our society has gotten, but that’s another story.

  3. Romney has a chance to win because most of those (white) ‘middle/working classes’ wingnuts are either too stupid to realize they vote against their own best interests, or too racist to care. The ones I know are stupid and racist.

    It won’t be Jindal. ‘Diversity’ is actually a slur to wingnuts.

    Good to see you back in action.
